Concrete Counter Tops

Dome Homes, Hubbell and Hubbell, and the panel building systems. This concrete counter top was built using 1 5/8″ inch thick foam core, panels is ready to pour and olive green dye will be added to the concrete mix on site, a foam block cut the shape of the sink has been centered plastic around the foam template, the foam template will be removed prior to the cement setting.

The forms shown here were difficult as the complete concrete counter top was a radius shape front back ends, a block out was also installed behind the foam block to receive water faucet values, it is very important to have this set to the correct depth and centered. Concrete counter tops and panel work well together, the construction will not crack!

Finished concrete counter top. The polishing of this concrete counter top was completed by owners Dan and Eloise.
